The Golden pages of my life..
“Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take but by the number of moments that take your breath away”..though it has been merely 3 years since I’ve joined this fantastic school,it has given me many moments to cherish for a lifetime..
When I’d come to Kerala in 10th standard, this place was entirely new to me and I did not know what to expect of the life here.I’dd the feeling that the students here were something different but each day proved me wrong.
Life here was more challenging than it was in Bahrain where one could say it was spoonfeeding in many aspects and we failed to experience the real life out there..Also maybe because I was away from my parents or maybe because it was India after all.

The tension while writing the board exams in 10th and the excitement on getting the results were soon forgotten as we had bigger challenges up ahead.New friends were made and new lessons were learnt each day. Some of pain, some of joy to some of love but all for a reason.
The teachers stood by us ready to pull us back up whenever we dropped down and to knock us down whenever we went way too high out of reach. Its difficult to pick out and name the teachers as each one of them, knowingly or unknowingly has taught me valuable lessons..Mariam miss,Sudha miss,Leena miss,Rema miss,Elizabeth miss,Remani miss,Parvathy miss,Rathi miss,Sujatha miss,Prathiba miss,Sheela miss,Dcruz sir,Jyothi miss and the list goes on..

I remember being identified as Viswanath’s brother due to my voice, among the teachers during the early days and it was a proud moment for me when he was given the position of School Captain and two years later I slipped into his shows, very big to fill but I gave in my best. The teachers did compare the two AV’s in every aspect and it was fun to hear.
The Magnum Opus was something that changed my life to a great extent.I learnt a lot about the actual world during the two months of Magnum preparation.Right from persuading shopkeepers to give sponsorship to deciding on the food stalls was fun.Whom to depend on and trust, whom to be careful of and the fact that the leader has to be careful that nothing goes wrong, else the blame will fall upon him whatever be the circumstances.
The canteen is the other aspect all of us will really miss..Ahh the Sambhar and pappadam were unique and even now when I type this my mouth waters. The 4th and 5th periods during the 12 std. Was hard to concentrate with the aroma of the dishes.Participating in the competitions were more like a fight between a few of us to see who bags the maximum .Studies too were equally fun, butterflies before the exams and calculating the score of each person after the exam are moments to cherish..
Days months and years will pass by,man and nature will evolve, the trophies and certificates we’ve won here at school will gather dust and so will these memories, the friends and teachers to whom we’ve become intimately bound with years later will be in different parts of the world and some might even be with God..but wherever they are and whatever they are they will remain in our hearts forever…for these were the Golden pages of our life..keep smiling..:)
